The Portuguese Directorate-General of Health (DGS), as part of the project "Promoting Integration through Equity in Health - Phase 2", has released a set of leaflets, translated into 10 languages, related to Migration and Health.
Five different leaflets have been developed on areas such as Family Planning, Vaccination, Access to Healthcare, Mental Health and Useful Contacts, translated into English, Ukrainian, Russian, Arabic, Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, Romanian, Chinese and Mandarin. These informative materials aim to help migrants to better understand their health rights, as well as on how to access health care in Portugal.
The leaflets were also distributed by the five Regional Health Administrations, the High Commission for Migration (ACM), Non-Governmental Organizations and Associations that work with migrants.
