What is it and how can I obtain a family planning appointment?

It is an appointment to support and inform the individuals or couples, so they can plan a pregnancy at the proper time, given the possibility of living their sexuality in a healthy and safe way. You can schedule in your residency Health Centre.
In this appointment a health condition evaluation of the woman/couple is made. Is given information regarding contraceptive methods, being the chosen contraceptive delivered freely. The couples with infertility issues are guided, the sex counseling is made, as well as gynecologic cancer and sexually transmitted diseases tracking.
If you are planning to get pregnant ask for an appointment (pre-conception) where your and the couple health conditions will be evaluated, to detain any existence of risks or diseases to the mother or future baby.

These consultations have costs?
The appointment is free as well as the contraceptive.
