What is required for studying in Portugal?

You must apply for the equivalence of studies, and following that, the candidate will be placed in the corresponding school year.
 
Where is enrollment made?
The enrollment is made in the school that the applicant wishes to attend by special form.
Where are the documents delivered?
The application and supporting documents of qualifications are delivered in the school that the applicant wishes to attend or in the school's area of ​​residence in the country.
Which documents are required for enrollment?
The application is supported by evidence of qualifications, duly translated, when written in a foreign language, and authenticated by the embassy or consulate of Portugal, or the embassy and consulate of the foreign country in Portugal or with the Apostille for the countries that joined the Convention of Hague of October 5, 1961, ratified by Decree-Law No. 48,450, published in the Official Government Journal, 1st Series, No 148 of 24 June 1968.
Is there a deadline for enrollment in a school in Portugal?
No. The enrollment in primary education or secondary education, can be performed at any time of the year and their acceptance depends only on the existence of a vacancy in the classes already established.
Can one apply for enrollment in a year that is different to the granted equivalence?
Yes, it is possible to request enrollment in the year immediately below the corresponding qualification granted by equivalence, within the same cycle of education.
